Step aboard my Patana boat (with space for up to 10 guests) and experience Venice like never before—with a refreshing aperitif in hand and the city’s most stunning views all around you. As your local guide and captain, I’ll take you beyond the tourist paths, navigating hidden canals and cruising through the breathtaking outer lagoon. Along the way, I’ll share stories, history, and insights about Venice, its lagoon, and the magic of its islands. From the moment we set off, I’ll serve you Prosecco, beers and chips/crisps, setting the mood for a relaxed and memorable 1.5-hour journey. You’ll enjoy iconic panoramas of San Marco, Giudecca, San Giorgio, San Pietro, the southern lagoon, and more—ideal for capturing unforgettable photos. This tour is perfect for solo travelers, couples, families, or groups of friends looking to unwind, learn, and see the city from a unique perspective. We’ll return to our starting point at the end of the tour.

Discover The Northern Lagoon (Murano, Burano and Torcello)

As your skipper and guide, I’ll take you beyond the crowds to discover the Northern Lagoon’s most enchanting islands.
1) We’ll begin in Murano, where you’ll step inside a traditional glass factory for a mesmerizing 45-minute visit, then you’ll admire the island’s beauty from my boat.
2) Next we’ll head to Burano, famous for its lace and charm, where you’ll have 45–60 minutes to stroll through its rainbow-colored streets.
3) We’ll end in serene Torcello, where 30 minutes is just enough to soak in its ancient soul and quiet green paths.
After Torcello I will take you back to Venice. This experience is the perfect blend of local insight, relaxed cruising, and authentic island magic

Swimming Experience

You will experience the venetian life as real locals do, and you will have the chance to swim and snorkle in our beautiful lagoon and sea. This experience lasts about 2.5h, you will get on my boat and I will take you to the best secret spots for swimming and snorkeling near Venice, away from the traffic where the water is clean and calm. You only have to bring your own towel, as I can provide clean swim suits for all sizes.

Explore The Spooky Island of Venice

You will hop on my boat (10 seats available) and we will head towards the most spooky Island of Venice: Poveglia. This place used to be a quarantine island for the black plague in the 15th century, and then it became an insane asylum during the 19th and 20th century. Nowadays it’s abandoned and it’s famous for being the most haunted island in the world.

Vidal Venice Tours was born in early 2018 from the values of a young traveller, Alessandro.
We strongly believe in authentic and intimate boat tours, giving the chance to experience Venice and its surroundings as locals do.
We currently offer various boat tours including: Murano and Burano tours, A Venetian Aperitif on The Lagoon, swimming tours and much more.
Our current boat is 7.5m (24 ft) long, has 11 seats available, has a canopy for hot summer days, and can navigate up to 30kts (35mph) making it the ideal boat for comfort and long transfers across the lagoon (for example while visiting islands like Murano, Burano and Torcello).
By the end of 2024 we have welcomed over 20,000+ guests from 30+ countries around the world, receiving an average of 5 stars on travel websites such as Google, Airbnb and Trip Advisor. Yet we keep growing and improving day by day 😉
